1.) Pray About Everything
Worrying about everything and depending on myself for answers, decisions, and resolutions in 2018 didn’t work out so well. SO in 2019 let’s put our fear and worry to the side and pray about everything that is on our hearts and minds !
2.) Spend More Time with Family
Family is so important and as I look back on my younger days I wish I could go back in time and spend more time with those who will be a constant in my life instead of those who are just seasonal. In 2019 make more plans with the fam such as; dinner, movie nights, game nights, and even make simple phone calls to family members!
3.) Invest in Yourself
Invest love, care, and time in yourself. Do things that make you happy ! Take time to relax with a good book, indulge in your favorite meals, get your nails and hair done, buy some new perfume, or purchase an amazing lip stick, you deserve it ! We change a lot from year to year so, Don’t be afraid to spend alone time with YOU learning the YOU of 2019!
New Year New Hobby ! Or maybe New Year Same Hobby! Either way find a new hobby that brings you satisfaction or rekindle your love for your old hobby and dive yourself into that activity and love it and use it as your escape goat when 2019 gets tough !
5.) Be Kind and Love More
In a world full of negativity, hate, judgement, and mean gestures be the change. Be more kind this year to everyone you meet. Always put yourself in other peoples shoes or remember you do not know what they are going through! Love people through 2019 and be kind to others as you expect them to be kind to you !
6.) Work on Your Physical Health
Physical health is important after all this is the only body you get Right or Right?! Eat cleaner, take those daily walks, get a skin care routine, attend annual checkups, and avoid toxic materials. Let 2019 be the year you finally kick those health resolutions in the hiney!
7.) Take Care of Your Mental Health
Everyone has STUFF they have gone through, dealt with, and even done that has caused some anger, sadness, or mood swings. Being mentally healthy is nothing you should neglect ! Mental Health is IMPORTANT! Journal, seek counsel, find solitude, take a personal day from work, go on vacation, ask for medication, and cut those unhealthy relationships that only bring you down out of your life ! Let 2019 be the year you say “I choose to be mentally well!”
Let 2019 be the year you are consistent in everything you do and in all of your resolutions! Let this year be the year you are a consistent wife, mom, family member, friend, student, employee, house keeper, hobbiest, health nut, and kind person !
Blythe’s 2 Cents
Think back to this time last year and think about the resolutions you neglected and the list above ! If you stick to your resolutions this year and apply the 8 resolutions I have decided to add to my list as well, think about what your life will look like January 1st 2020! 2019 it’s your year!!! You ladies be the rockstar women that you are !!!! Go kick this year’s hiney!!!! And remember to be thankful and grateful for another year around the sun to enjoy this beautiful planet and all of Gods creation ! Another year is a blessing that is neglected to many enjoy 2019 and make it worth it !
